On April, 3rd, and 4th -2017 the Career Development Center at the University of Zakho (UOZ-CDC) in collaboration with the faculties/colleges organized a two-day workshop entitled ("New Directions for Youth Leadership Development (NDYLD ) & Transformational Leadership Skills from Academic to Community and Industry"). It is worth to mention that this program was sponsored by IREX and the US. Embassy in Iraq with an amount of 1129 USD

The vision of the workshop was to provide and equip attendees to gain a better understanding of the best practices, tips, and lessons about Leadership environment. Moreover, it aimed at creating a better network between University of Zakho Alumni and students plus with employers from private and public sectors along with building a bridge between educational sectors such as university and private sectors.
